Neon Kids

Neon Kids stands as our flagship initiative. Formerly known as Neon Rainbow, we initially launched as a print publication aimed at enriching children's lives by encouraging them to unplug and explore their creativity through art, crafts, and a wealth of resources. Over time, we have transformed into a comprehensive online resource for parents while staying true to our original mission of inspiring kids to disconnect and engage with the outdoors. Our ultimate challenge at Neon Kids is to foster a healthy balance in which children interact with their peers in real life just as much, if not more, than they do with their online friends.
Neon Kids is an engaging online platform dedicated to empowering parents with an extensive array of resources, an inclusive calendar of exciting events, insightful articles, and an abundance of additional features, making it an essential companion for every parent navigating the vibrant community of the River Valley Region in Arkansas and Eastern Oklahoma.
NWA Parents will serve as a vital connection to the vibrant Northwest Arkansas community, enriching the lives of families with an engaging platform dedicated to local news, events, and resources. This exciting online publication, Neon Kids, is set to launch in 2025 and is anticipated to debut in either late Q1 or early Q2, making it a valuable resource for parents seeking information and support in the dynamic landscape of Northwest Arkansas.
Neon Menu is an exciting upcoming project designed to be a valuable print resource for parents, with the goal of inspiring and encouraging kids to stay unplugged from screens and engage in creative and enriching activities. This innovative resource will provide a range of ideas and activities that promote offline play, enabling families to reconnect in meaningful ways. While we do not have a specific launch date yet, we are enthusiastically aiming for a mid-2025 release, and we can't wait to share this engaging tool with you and your children.

Our Programs

Fort Smith Mom Prom®

Mom Prom® was created in Canton, MI in 2006 at St. Thomas a’Becket Catholic Church.  It is a ladies night out for charity in which women wear their old prom gowns, bridesmaids dresses, wedding gowns, or formals and dance the night away for a worthy cause. It is a real prom with a DJ, a Tackiest Dress Contest, an Aqua Net Contest for “best hair”, and a game to crown the new queen. For ALL women, not just moms! This is a wonderful, hilarious night in which women can dance the night away, have fun with friends, and help a charity. We hope to have ladies groups from across the country create their own proms, raising money for charities that are close to their hearts. So look for that old gown in the back of your closet and get ready to dance, dance, dance while helping those in need.

Santa's Helpers are on a secret mission to sprinkle some extra cheer by stashing candy canes in the lawns of good little boys and girls, all while scratching their heads and pondering the curious question of why the Easter Bunny seems to steal the spotlight and enjoy all the fun at the holiday gatherings, as they dash around with delight, spreading joy and laughter in their wake, ensuring that each child experiences the magic of the season in the most delightful way possible.
